Hôtel des Îles enjoys an ideal location at the gates of Essaouira's old city, in front of the sea and the port, making it a great base for relaxing getaways.
Built in 1948 by Antoine Marchisio (designer of the legendary Mamounia in Marrakesh), the hotel combines Mauresque tradition with modern amenities. The original wing of the hotel boasts 23 rooms located on two floors. All rooms were redecorated in 2002 and face either the bay or the hotel's private swimming pool surrounded by greenery. There are also 40 motel-style bungalows, each with its own sun deck facing the pool and a parking space.
The hotel invites you to enjoy some relaxing time in one of its two lounges or in its restaurant with large and modern multi-use dining room facing the ocean and serving up to 300 people for meals (up to 500 for cocktails). The dining room can also be rearranged into a conference room for all corporate events.
